Shrub or tree, 2–8(–10) m high, bark fissured & grey. Fl. yellow, Aug–Nov. Calcareous soils, sandy loam, clay. Coastal areas, low limestone rises, clay or saline flats. Distribution: N: DL, NK; ER: COO, GAS, HAM, MUR, NUL; SW: AW, MAL.
