Erect perennial, herb, to 0.6 m high. Fl. white/white-purple-pink, Jan or May to Oct. Red clay or loam, laterite, bauxite. Sandstone gullies, exposed sheets basalt, among tumbled boulders, in grasslands. Distribution: Northern. CK, NK and VB.
