Rosetted perennial, herb, (0.15-)0.25-0.7 m high, Leaves erect to somewhat spreading, linear, 2-8 cm long, 0.7-2 mm wide, apex subacute, margin entire, glabrous, rugulose. Scape glabrous at base, sparingly glandular along inflorescence axis. Inflorescence racemose. Fl. pink-purple, Oct to Dec. Clay loam or sandy loam. Seasonally wet depressions. Woodland or shrubland, often with Melaleuca. Distribution: South-west. AW, GS, JF and SWA.
