Terrestrial annual, herb, 0.05-0.4(-0.6) m high. Fl. yellow/yellow-orange, Mar to Oct. Damp sandy soils, shallow soils over sandstone. Along creeks, swamp edges, moist depressions. Distribution: Northern. CK, DL, NK, OVP and VB.
