Rounded, prickly shrub, 0.3-2 m high. Fl. purple-blue, May to Oct. Red sandy or clay, often stony soils. Sandplains, rocky outcrops & gullies. Distribution: Northern and Eremaean. DL and OVP. CAR, GAS, LSD, MUR and PIL.
