Aquatic to semi-aquatic perennial, herb, 0.1-1 m high. Fl. yellow, Jul to Dec or Jan to Mar. In shallow waters or in damp soil. Swamps, wet flats, roadside drains. Distribution: South-west. ESP, JF, SWA and WAR.
