Erect annual, herb, to 0.6 m high. Fl. yellow, Jun or Aug to Dec. White, grey or yellow sand, red gravelly loam, black sandy clay, guano, laterite, sandstone, limestone. Dunes, rocky island plateaus, hillsides, samphires, disturbed gravel pits, road verges. Distribution: Eremaean and South-west. GAS and MUR. ESP, GS, JF, SWA and WAR.
