Erect annual, herb, to 0.8 m high. Fl. yellow, Apr to Oct. Grey, brown or yellow sand, red sandy or clayey loams, saline sandy clay, ironstone, granite, limestone, calcarite. Ephemeral lakes and other water sources, salt lakes, samphire flats. Distribution: Eremaean and South-west. COO, GAS, GVD, HAM, MUR, NUL and YAL. AW, GS and MAL.
