Erect, spreading annual, herb, to 1 m high. Fl. yellow, Jun or Aug to Oct. Dry grey sand, black peaty sand over clay, white sand over limestone. Dunes, swamp edges, disturbed margins of lakes. Distribution: South-west. SWA.
