Submerged aquatic, sometimes mat-forming, free-floating annual or perennial, herb, ultimate segments of the leaves very few; calyx lobes 2; pedicels semi-erect in fruit. Fl. yellow, Apr to Dec. Still pools, ephemeral swamps. Distribution: Northern, Eremaean and South-west. CK, DL, NK and VB. TAN. SWA.
