Stoloniferous, submerged, aquatic annual, herb, flowers bisexual; stamens 3; seeds with a filiform projection 1-5 mm long from each end. Fl. white, Jun to Aug. Sandstone, granite. Still or slow-moving fresh waters. Distribution: Northern. CK, NK, OVP and VB.
